Visitors of Engineering Open House
Directed by Gavin Fernandes and Mark Persaud

The total number of visitors during EOH 2007 was estimated at 15,000+ and broken down into two main groups.

High School Student and Families

Our visitors include thousands of families, high school students and college students. Each year they come to witness one of the premier events displaying Engineering at Illinois. Companies that sponsor the EOH are committed to promoting the importance of math and science in high school by inspiring hundreds of high school students during the event while displaying their latest and best technologies.

College of Engineering Students

The College of Engineering at the University of Illinois (ranked 4th in the nation, according to U.S. News) and produces graduates of the highest quality. Engineering Students view EOH as a highlight of the school year. Even though EOH is not a recruiting event, sponsors are seen as big recruiters at the University. EOH offers a company a platform from building brand value to a pool of future engineering talents.
